Synopsis
"I Want You to Live" is a film that explores the motif that one must try to find resilience and strength during difficult times in life. The story follows Lia Nguyen, an Asian-American teenager, in her journey to overcoming the grief of her parent's death. She begins to discover her mother's journal which details her journey as a refugee during the Vietnam war and her voyage to America. In this story, family, friends, and even unlikely strangers are the center of it all.
